Michelle Obama Opens Up About Racists Comments made about her while in The White House

Michelle Obama opens up about the hurtful, racist comments that were made about her during her 8-years in the White House.
Michelle Obama has always been an example of sophistication and has forever changed the role of First Lady in the United States. But despite all she did for the country during her eight years in the White House with her husband/President Barack Obama, she still had to endure HATE and racial attacks as First Lady.
This week, our forever FLOTUS spoke at a fundraising event for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado (above) where she was asked to describe which “glass shards” hurt her the most while serving as First Lady, even after making history as the first black First Lady.
“The shards that cut me the deepest were the ones that intended to cut,” Mrs. Obama said in reference to being called an ape and comments about her backside. “Knowing that after eight years of working really hard for this country, there are still people who won’t see me for what I am because of my skin color.”
“Women, we endure those cuts in so many ways that we don’t even notice we’re cut,” she said. “We are living with small tiny cuts, and we are bleeding every single day. And we’re still getting up.”
well said..
