Steve Martin is only getting warmed up as he took his three-year-old daughter to a farmer's market on Sunday.
The actor and wife Anne Stringfield brought to pet the goats as they took a break from shopping in Beverly Hills.
The Father Of The Bride Star looked ever the casual dad in flat trainers, sweats and a pullover, getting his hands dirty as he introduced his little girl to the visiting farm animals.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph Steve, who became a father for the first time in 2012 at age 67, also spoke about the upsides to being an older dad.
'You're all set and secure in life, and you're not building your career, so you have a lot of time. When I was younger, I was selfish and focused on my career. Now I’m just hanging around the house playing with (my daughter). It's great.'
He married New York Times journalist Anne Stringfield in 2007 after three years together.
They have never revealed their daughter's name to the public, but Steve joked about it on The Late Show With David Letterman in April 2013, a few months after the birth.
Calling himself a ‘responsible dad’ he teased: ‘We've thought about the name quite a bit. Conquistador. What do you think? I didn't want to go with one of those Hollywood weird names. Conquistador is a statement.’
