Ricky Martin officially announced his engagement to Arab artist Jwan Yosef on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
It's a first for the 44-year-old Puerto Rican pop star - who came out in 2010 - and he proudly showed off his engagement band on the morning programme.
The Grammy winner gushed that he was in love with the Syrian-born, Swedish-raised 32-year-old, whom he met over a year ago through his conceptual paintings.
'I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And I contacted him and then I collected him,' Ricky - born Enrique Morales - told Ellen.
Jwan's current exhibition Maskings runs through December 3 at Stockholm gallery Stene Projects.
Martin nervously popped the question by declaring he 'got something' for Yosef rather than the more traditional 'will you marry me.'
'Bad! And then he was like, "Yes." I said, "I want to spend my life with you" and he was like, "what is the question?" "Would you marry me?"' the Vente Pa'ca hitmaker recalled.
