The hottest comedian in Hollywood right now took a break from his "What Now" tour to be honored at this year’s CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards. Get Hardstar Kevin Hart was presented with the CinemaCon Comedy Star Of The Year Award during the ceremony held at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. And he was looking quite dapper in his tasseled loafers on the carpet.
CinemaCon is the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners.
“Parks and Recreation” star Paul Rudd was on the scene to accept an award as well. He brought home the Male Star of the Year Award. He and Kevin, who both starred in 40-Year-Old Virgin, kicked it on the carpet before the night’s festivities.
HLN anchor Rocsi Diaz flaunted her curves in a fitted strapless Ministry Of Style cubic dress on the red carpet before getting to her interviewing duties.
Michael B. Jordan stars as Johnny Storm / Human Torch(who can turn into fire when he says "Flame On") in the upcoming Marvel-comic film. And it's scheduled to hit theaters July 30th. According to a CBS Sports press release, Grant Hill (shown above with wife Tamia) is a part of an investment group that acquired the Atlanta Hawks for $850 Million. His group includes billionaire Antony Ressler, private equity investorRichard Schnall; Spanx Inc. founder Sara Blakely, and her husband, Jesse Itzler who is a co-founder of Marquis Jets.
In a team release obtained by Bloomberg Business, Antony Ressler said “We are honored and thrilled to have been chosen to become the new stewards of the Hawks, we are incredibly excited by the Hawks’ success and wish them luck in the playoffs.”
Actress/tv host/comedian Whoopi Goldberg was honored for using her starpower for worthy causes at Variety’s Power Of Women New York luncheon held at theluxe Cipriani 42nd Street.
Inside, “The View” co-host posed it up alongside a framed portrait of her April 2015 coverwhere, in the cover story, she talks about her love and deep passion for ice-skating. She became an honorary chair of Figure Skating in Harlem, a nonprofit that helps young girls learn leadership skills and valuable life lessons through skating.
She told Variety, "Anytime someone is passionate about something, I feel like you have to encourage that.” Sweet.

Damon Dash has been on an #InvestInWomen hashtag frenzy on Instagram. But, it appears he’s tired of investing in his ex-wife Rachel Roy and is now suing her for millions!
If you haven’t been keeping up Dame recently lost custody of his daughters with Rachel, 15-year-old Avaand 6-year-oldTallulah. Apparently, there was a custody hearing and he was a no show. So, the judge awarded Rachel with full custody (where they once shared joint custody) AND a three-year restraining order was granted to keep Dame far away. Not only that, he now has to have supervised visitations with his children after Rachel accused him of being an unfit parent.
Now, just a few days after he lost custody, Dame is clapping back. And he’s suing for $2.5 million!
According to TMZ,Dame filed paperwork on Thursday over alleged corporate crimes related to two fashion companies they started together, Royale Etenia LLC and Topson Downs. Dame accuses Rachel of breach of contract and getting in the way of Dame getting his money, which he says is his.
The 45-year-old hosted the opening of his just keep livin pop-up shop in Austin, Texas on Friday.
With his signature phrase written on his hat, the star used an airstream to promote the event as he spoke to a group of high school students.
Sporting a thick scruffy beard and unruly strands of hair sticking out from underneath his hat, the star wore a T-shirt that read 'Be a lot cooler if you did' and grey jeans with brown belt.
The actor's wife, Camila Alves, and his mother also joined him for the opening.
Matthew and Camila founded the non-profit Just Keep Livin Foundation.
The organization is "dedicated to helping teenage kids lead active lives and make healthy choices to become great men and women" and also starts and supports after-school fitness and wellness programs in areas that need them most.
Just Keep Livin features a collection of rugged clothing items for sale and a portion of every sale is donated directly to the just keep livin Foundation.
The star appeared to be in good spirits as he laughed and talked to the kids.
